Egg cups
Design: Piet Design
What came first,
the chicken or the egg?
The answer to this question remains difficult, but we do know for sure that the egg cup only came into the world after the chicken and the egg.
And that quite early: examples of egg cups are known from classical antiquity. On a mosaic in Antioch you can see small cups with eggs in them. A silver egg cup with matching spoon was even found in Pompeii. In later centuries, egg cups were made of wood and porcelain.
These foldable egg cups are made of recycled polypropylene.
The decoration is based on motifs of Delft blue pottery from the 17th century.
Contents: 2 egg cups, 1 envelope and a card with space for your own text.
